We understand that there are many complaints about the food deliverer always send the food later than the estimated time arrival which cause a lot trouble to the user. Gastronomeal is here to make sure your meal will reach on time because, punctuality is always our priority ! 

HOW Gastronomeal works?

1. Customer can order from us throught our website : www.gastronomeal.com 

2. All the orders will be save into our data base and sorted accordingly at a specifc time. After that, sorted orders will be sent to our delivery team and suppliers. 

3. After receiving the orders, our delivery team will start to pick up all the orders from different suppliers. By the time they reached to each suppliers, the meal is done prepared and ready to be delivered. 

4. After collecting all the orders from different suppliers, our delivery team is now ready to deliver all the food to each delivery point respectively at specific time. 

How Gastronomeal outperforms the others?

1.  Lower cost 

By applying the concept of economies of scale, we have the power to bargain with our suppliers to get a much lower price ! 

2. More efficient 

We use DRIVERS instead of RIDERS. Our 1 driver can handle up to 50 orders a day during peak hour. It's equal to the work of at least 3 riders ! 

3. Certainty

Our whole process is systematic and organised. By fixing our delivery locations and time, the uncertainty element and the risk of this business model is reduced. 

For example: We can always avoid traffic hour, traffic spot and get to do preparation for unexpected circumstances due to our organised system which is fixed delivery time and places. 

WHO are Gastronomeal Customers?

Our main focus are on College students and working adults. 

We understand that students need to stay back in college for assignments or exams and we know nize they do not have enough time to have a proper meal.

Besides, we also pay extra attention to those working adults who always stay back in office to rush for deadlines. They are also lack of time to have a proper meal.

We want the good food could be deliver to you even you are busy or do not have any transport. With our service, you will definitely save a lot of time as well as money. We aimed to help the community and allow them to enjoy no-waiting experience in buying food or stuck in traffic jam !

We are currently operate in Sunway area and mostly focus on Sunway University and Monash University.

RISK AND CHALLEGES IN THIS BUSINESS MODEL:

This is our first crowdfunding. We understand that there are some risks and challeges in our business model. However, we are ready to face all of them and always believe in our hard works! 

Lack of flexibility 

Customer can only order at specific time and specific delivery location, thus reducing the flexibility in our service. 

Unpredictable pricing model

Due to fierce competition in the online food delivery segment, it is very challenging to adopt a pricing model that is not subject to fluctuation and push sales continuously. 

Logistics dilemma

Restaurants and delivery services need to consider all these and various other parameters while deciding the last-mile logistics model. Customers expect timely delivery, and inefficient logistics can only disappoint them and make them lose trust in the service.

Inconsistency in food quality 

It is a fact that food delivered in a box stands no comparison to the food served straight from the kitchen at the tables a few metres away in the restaurant.

Giving Back to Society

We always plan to provide free food to those homeless people as well as those who stay in orphanage or old folks home. We will always take part of our monthly profit in order to buy the foods and beverages for them! We truly hope our small contribution will definitely help the society day by day. We plan to organize an event every month which formed by group of volunteers which are out there bringing food and comfort to the people that society forgets. We definitely hope those who show love and support to us will be able to join us as volunteer.
